So I’ve been looking at feeding myself nutritiously as a ritual of self love, part of which is snapping a pic to keep a gallery of mouth-watering motivation! And again, routines really help me build stretching, walks outside & workouts to be more ritual than nuisance.

In addition to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as a Black man, I have to navigate systemic racism and the racial injustices that have been plaguing Black lives for far too long, most recently with the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. These tragedies have lit a fire under me.
Hello, I'm doing ok due to the climate of the world. I can say I'm relatively positive. You have to literally take each day for what it is because nothing is promised. Some days are better than others but you just have to be able to work through it.
Runako & Company joins in our community’s outcry concerning the devastating events that have occurred. From the tragic killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and countless others who have died unjustly, we stand against injustice and racism.
These past few months have taught me that everything can be taken away in a flash. The coronavirus shut down is a reminder this is our now and it will be a while before the world recovers. My advice is to create your own blueprint and learn to live in the now because we are seeing every day that tomorrow is not promised.
“Mental Health Hour,” is the first activity I partake in every morning when I wake up. It’s simple I wake up, meditate, pray, write in my journal and then read a book. This is done before I even touch my phone, work out, check emails or get connected to the world. I feel I have to connect to myself first before I get connected to the world. Thus “Mental Health Hour” has become very important to my daily routine.
However, growing up in bitter cold winters and sweltering hot summers gave me an appreciation for the land where my family comes from — a land where coconuts grow — Liberia, West Africa. I have lots of borrowed memories about Liberia from my parents and relatives.
Not only does she use the product but she has watched us build this company from the ground up. She was our human canvas, an early user of our butter until we got that consistency right. Her watching this process has been very important to me, because as a little black girl she gets to learn. She is learning how she can take her own passion, her ideas, apply them and watch what amazing results can come. She is learning she can do any of that, just by trying.
